Good morning, Lord.
Thank you for your presence in my life, without which I would have been long ago dead. Thank you for your intervention in my life and in the lives of my husband and children, Lord. Thank you for your faithful care and longsuffering with us, all these years. Father, I do not know what lies ahead for us in the coming years, but I pray that you help me find a settled place to sit upon your Rock, so that I can remain calm and be a stabilizing force in the lives of my family, able to share your love with them and give them comfort and encouragement. Father, I ask you to show me whom else to give your love and encouragement to, outside of my family. Show me where to go, and when — and give me the wisdom and discernment to hear and obey your voice. Amen!

Isaiah 6:8 ERV

Then I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Who can I send? Who will go for us?” So I said, “Here I am. Send me!”

Psalm 27:4-5 ERV

I ask only one thing from the LORD. This is what I want most: Let me live in the LORD’S house all my life, enjoying the LORD’S beauty and spending time in his palace.
He will protect me when I am in danger. He will hide me in his tent. He will take me up to his place of safety.

Father, I feel just a little bit “lost” today, with no real clear-cut tasks to complete or projects to work on. There are three main ones that come to mind, but I do not know which are YOUR priorities. I give you my time and my day, my eyes and my hands and my mind, Lord. Please guide me in what YOU would have me work on, a moment at a time. Thank you for your faithful guidance, Shepherd! 😀
