Sep 11

Good morning, Father.
I thank you that I am feeling better today than yesterday. I pray that you be with my husband today and help him in his work on this 9-11 anniversary. Father, please heal the rift that has formed between him and my daughter, and help us find some type of help for her, some way for her to work towards independence and getting her own place. Guide me in researching online and calling the right people at the right times, and show me whatever else I need to do to make things happen. Help us ALL to be patient with your will and provision, Lord. Amen.

Romans 15:1-7 ERV

Some of us have no problem with these things. So we should be patient with those who are not so strong and have doubts. We should not do what pleases us
but do what pleases them and is for their good. We should do whatever helps everyone grow stronger in faith.
Even Christ did not live trying to please himself. As the Scriptures say about him, “Those people who insulted you have also insulted me.”
Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us. Those things were written so that we could have hope. That hope comes from the patience and encouragement that the Scriptures give us.
All patience and encouragement come from God. And I pray that God will help you all agree with each other, as Christ Jesus wants.
Then you will all be joined together. And all together you will give glory to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Christ accepted you, so you should accept each other. This will bring honor to God.

Father, I feel like I am one of those who are not so strong, and who has doubts. But of course, there is no one but You who is around and available to help me grow. My bad. I could have greater social and perhaps even spiritual support if I compromised my beliefs more or if I was stronger and could overcome my shame and other social hangups. Still, it feels quite enough, to deal with what you have already given me, rather than pushing myself out into the world to make “friends”. Please guide me in your Word and let it give me hope once again. Thank you for your patience and encouragement, Lord. Help me to agree with others and not fight in my heart against anyone, especially You. I just want to be at peace and find my joy again. Thank you, Jesus. I give this day to you. Heal me, Shepherd. Amen.
