Good morning, Father.
Thank you for the nice 2 hour walk yesterday evening, and all the peace and good exercise that came with it! Thank you for making my body strong and helping me get healthier. Please keep me learning and growing, Father. Please also teach my friend in New York how to help herself to get more healthy and take care of the problems she’s had. Guide her to the right sources of information specifically for her, Mighty Shepherd. Give her wisdom and insight and understanding of how to care for her body, as you are doing with me. Thank you, Lord!

Psalm 8 ERV

To the director: With the gittith. A song of David. LORD our Lord, your name is the most wonderful in all the earth! It brings you praise everywhere in heaven.
From the mouths of children and babies come songs of praise to you. They sing of your power to silence your enemies who were seeking revenge.
I look at the heavens you made with your hands. I see the moon and the stars you created.
And I wonder, “Why are people so important to you? Why do you even think about them? Why do you care so much about humans? Why do you even notice them?”
But you made them almost like gods and crowned them with glory and honor.
You put them in charge of everything you made. You put everything under their control.
People rule over the sheep and cattle and all the wild animals.
They rule over the birds in the sky and the fish that swim in the sea.
LORD our Lord, your name is the most wonderful name in all the earth!

Thank you, Father, for noticing and caring for each of us, individually. Thank you for your awesome closeness and comfort and daily encouragement. If I may be of some use to others, to bring them even a fraction of the joy and comfort you have shown me, please use me to make it so. Show me how to bring your love to others, to minister to them individually and effectively like you do, for your glory, Oh Lord. Help me in my work today, help me keep my eyes on you, and expand my “territory” in whatever directions YOU desire, Father. Amen!
