Good morning, Lord!
Thank you so much for all the joy and hope you have placed in my heart, the excitement of knowing that YOU are in control and watching over me, guiding my path. Thank you for your awesome mercy, Lord, for I certainly do not deserve such loving care. Thank you for redemption, for growth, for being seen and understood. Thank you for your Holy Spirit, our Teacher and Comforter. Lord, I ask that today you make a special time of fellowship for the three of us here in this house, to listen to your Word together, and get to know Jesus better. Please make it happen, Lord. Amen!

Psalm 130:3-8 ERV

LORD, if you punished people for all their sins, no one would be left alive.
But you forgive people, so they fear and respect you.
I am waiting for the LORD to help me. My soul waits for him. I trust what he says.
I am waiting for my Lord, like a guard waiting and waiting for the morning to come.
Israel, trust in the LORD. The LORD is the one who is faithful and true. He saves us again and again,
and he is the one who will save the people of Israel from all their sins.

Lord, I truly feel like I have everything I need. I see life through the glasses of joy and contentment. I have lots of work to do, plenty of food to eat, and none of my loved ones are suffering. We all have decent health and living conditions. Yet some of them are struggling quite a bit, feeling pretty distant from the joy and contentment and peace that I have so abundantly right now. Lord, I know I can not “bargain” with you and ask you to take some of what you’ve given me and give it to them instead. Still, I pray that you show your awesome mercy and grace to them and give them abundant gifts that is whatever THEY need, individually. I pray that you bring each of my troubled peeps to a place of peace and rest in you, a place of being comforted by the knowledge that YOU are in charge and are caring for them. I pray that you draw them close to you, Lord. Take them out of their troubled waters and lift them onto the Rock. Amen! 😀
