Good morning, Father.
Thank you for the good cry I had this morning, and thank you for not leaving or forsaking me. I give myself to you, Lord, and I ask you to help me to be a little bit closer to your kingdom tomorrow, than I am today. Help me to be more free, and to have more to give to others.
Proverbs 3:3-8 ERV
Don’t ever let love and loyalty leave you. Tie them around your neck, and write them on your heart.
Then God will be pleased and think well of you and so will everyone else.
Trust the LORD completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge.
With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way.
Don’t trust in your own wisdom, but fear and respect the LORD and stay away from evil.
If you do this, it will be like a refreshing drink and medicine for your body.
Father, I have no wisdom to trust in. I have only you. I do not know what path to take, what to focus on, what to create for you. My heart is full of tears and my eyes are weary and blurry. Help me to see what you have for me to do today, for you. I know you will help me, Lord. Please also help me to be humble and courageous enough to accept your help, and move forward. And protect me while I am vulnerable like this — like I probably always am. Thank you, Father.
